Josh Austin is a Managing Partner and Owner of Good Earth Landscaping & Maintenance, where he brings deep experience in private equity, investment banking, and operating businesses to support the company’s long-term growth and operational excellence.
Through his holding company, JCA Management, Inc., Josh maintains ownership interests across a diverse portfolio of operating businesses, including Good Earth Landscaping & Maintenance, Swedish Industrial Coatings, and Rescue Cooling. His role across these companies focuses on strategic oversight, capital allocation, and building durable operating platforms that deliver consistent results for customers and employees alike.
In addition to his involvement with Good Earth, Josh is the Owner of Adonis Auto Group, a fully integrated automotive finance and services company based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Since investing in Adonis in 2016, he has helped build the business into a “Transportation as a Service” platform, providing reliable vehicles, mechanical coverage, roadside assistance, and customer-focused financing solutions.
Earlier in his career, Josh worked in private equity at Nautic Partners, where he evaluated middle-market investment opportunities, and began his professional career in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley, advising domestic and international clients on mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.
Josh holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Columbia University. He brings a disciplined, long-term ownership perspective to Good Earth, supporting thoughtful growth, strong financial foundations, and a continued commitment to high-quality service.
Jeff Margulies is the Owner and Managing Partner of Good Earth Landscaping & Maintenance, where he oversees strategic growth, financial planning, and long-term operational excellence across the company’s residential and commercial portfolio in the Roaring Fork Valley.
With a background rooted in finance, strategy, and business operations, Jeff brings a disciplined, analytical approach to the landscaping industry—ensuring projects are not only beautifully executed, but thoughtfully planned, well-resourced, and sustainably managed. Since joining Good Earth in 2018, he has played a key role in guiding the company’s growth while maintaining the high standards and client relationships that define the brand.
Prior to Good Earth, Jeff held senior leadership and finance roles across a range of industries, including serving as Chief Financial Officer at JMack Enterprises, where he established shared financial operations and advised multiple operating companies on financial and strategic initiatives. He has also worked in private investment, corporate development, and real estate analysis, supporting complex transactions ranging from structured debt to majority equity investments.
Jeff began his career in real estate investment analysis at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), where he was responsible for capital deployment analysis across development, acquisition, and portfolio transactions.
He earned his degree from Brown University and lives in Carbondale, Colorado, where he is actively involved in the local business community. Jeff’s leadership at Good Earth reflects a commitment to thoughtful growth, transparency, and long-term value for clients, employees, and partners alike.
Becky has almost twenty years horticulture and business experience in the Roaring Fork Valley. Her experience covers all facets of the landscaping industry including best maintenance practices, training capable teams, creative problem solving and budget management to meet client goals. Becky has extensive garden and floral design experience which she uses to create outstanding displays that exceed client expectations. Her special interests include perennial planting design, container gardens and sustainable organic techniques. She has an expert knowledge of Rocky Mountain high altitude perennials and their performance in the many microclimates present on the properties in the Aspen area.
Becky’s passion for gardens and natural science began in the public gardens she visited as a child. The Town of Basalt gardens present a unique opportunity to foster an appreciation and understanding of the beauty of nature and natural science in the residents, visitors and most importantly, our children. She believes investing in our public gardens through ongoing maintenance and development, reinstating the Plant Select program and maintaining the Level 1 arboretum status strengthens the economy of the town and promotes education and conservation.
Jon Aigner serves as the Director of Operations for the Maintenance Division at Good Earth
Landscaping & Maintenance, where he oversees day-to-day operational planning for the
company’s landscape maintenance services across the Roaring Fork Valley.
In this role, Jon manages crew scheduling, operational logistics, and field oversight for
maintenance teams servicing residential and commercial properties throughout Aspen,
Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and the surrounding valley.
Jon also plays a central role in the planning and renewal of landscape maintenance contracts,
working closely with clients, property managers, and account managers to ensure each property
receives consistent, high-quality care year after year. His responsibilities include contract
renewals, new service acquisitions, estimating, and project takeoffs, helping align operational
capacity with client needs.
In addition to landscape maintenance operations, Jon coordinates snow removal scheduling
and logistics during the winter season, ensuring that crews, equipment, and service routes are
deployed efficiently during weather-driven events.
Through careful planning, team leadership, and operational oversight, Jon helps ensure that
Good Earth’s maintenance division continues to deliver the reliable, detail-oriented service the
company is known for throughout the valley.
Arvana Jarrard is the Fixed Operations Manager at Good Earth Landscaping & Maintenance, where he plays a central role in ensuring the systems, processes, and infrastructure that support the company’s field operations run smoothly, reliably, and at a high standard.
With more than three years at Good Earth, Arvana brings a calm, detail-oriented approach to managing the behind-the-scenes operations that allow crews to perform efficiently across maintenance, irrigation, fine gardening, and seasonal services throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. His work helps ensure that people, equipment, systems, and information are aligned—so teams in the field can focus on quality execution and long-term landscape care.
Before joining Good Earth, Arvana built a long career in operations, systems management, and project leadership, working in high-responsibility environments across healthcare, landscape architecture, hospitality, and financial services. His background includes senior roles with Aspen Valley Hospital, Design Workshop, Aspen Skiing Company, HCA Healthcare, and Total Merchant Services, where he managed complex systems, led teams, and supported organizations that required precision, uptime, and dependable service.
At Good Earth, that experience translates into a steady operational foundation that supports long-term growth, crew effectiveness, and consistent client outcomes.
Arvana lives and works in the Roaring Fork Valley and understands the importance of dependable systems in a seasonal, high-expectation environment. His role reflects Good Earth’s belief that excellent landscapes are supported not only by skilled hands in the field, but by thoughtful operations behind the scenes.
Genevieve Villamizar brings 30+ years of experience in landscape design, ecological stewardship, and native plant systems to Good Earth Landscaping & Maintenance. With a career rooted in plant-driven design and a deep respect for place, Genevieve specializes in creating landscapes that are both visually compelling and ecologically resilient.
As the Founder of Salt + Dirt | Outside Design, Genevieve has dedicated two decades to ecologically driven landscape design and consulting services throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Her work focuses on integrating native and regionally adapted plant communities, habitat development, and regenerative land management into residential and community landscapes.
In addition, Genevieve is the Owner of Native Grasses & Forbs LLC, where she contract-grows native grasses and forbs for landscape projects and ecological restoration efforts. Her work includes site-specific seed collection, plant propagation, and consulting—supporting landscapes that are locally adapted, biodiverse, and resilient over time.
Earlier in her career, Genevieve operated a boutique landscape and garden design practice for more than 15 years, serving as both designer and project manager while acting as a liaison between clients and landscape contractors. This hands-on experience informs her collaborative approach at Good Earth, ensuring that design intent is thoughtfully carried through to installation.
Genevieve holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management with a focus on Sustainable and Resilient Communities from Western Colorado University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Science (Landscape Design–Build) from Colorado State University. Her academic background is complemented by ongoing civic and environmental leadership, including service on the Town of Carbondale Parks & Recreation Commission, advisory roles with the Town of Carbondale Environmental Board, and participation in Bee Friendly Carbondale, where she helps guide municipal transitions toward functional, pollinator-supporting ecosystems.
At Good Earth, Genevieve contributes ecological insight, plant expertise, and design leadership to projects ranging from refined residential landscapes to regenerative acreage management—helping clients create outdoor spaces that feel alive, meaningful, and deeply connected to the landscape.
Moises Murillo Gomez is a Project Manager in the Landscape Construction Department at Good
Earth Landscaping & Maintenance, where he oversees the planning and execution of
construction and landscape installation projects across the Roaring Fork Valley. He manages
crews, schedules, equipment, and site logistics to ensure projects are completed safely,
efficiently, and to the high standards expected by Good Earth clients.
In addition to his construction responsibilities, Moises also serves as a Snow Removal Division
Leader, helping coordinate winter operations and ensuring reliable service during fast-paced,
weather-driven conditions.
Moises began his career in the construction field as a laborer building homes and worked his
way up through hands-on roles, gaining valuable jobsite experience with companies such as
R.A. Nelson. That strong field foundation allows him to manage projects with a practical
understanding of real-world construction conditions and provides credibility with the crews he
leads.
Known for his strong work ethic and accountability, Moises takes pride in keeping projects
organized and moving forward. His leadership focuses on clear communication, efficient
scheduling, and attention to detail, while always maintaining a commitment to safety and quality
craftsmanship.
Today, Moises oversees multiple job sites while supporting field teams and helping deliver the
beautiful outdoor environments Good Earth is known for throughout Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt,
Carbondale, and the surrounding valley.
